Texas Advances

Tonight we saw something that has never been seen before. The Texas Rangers have advanced to their first ever World Series by defeating the heavily favored, and much richer, New York Yankees. The Rangers accomplished this by doing one thing and one thing only, win. This team found a way, through front office turmoil and the handicap of playing in the league that New York seemingly had bought through the first 162 games of this baseball year to just win. Did anyone see the Rangers making the post season? Remember what the Rangers organization is known for before this season. 50 years, 0 post season series wins, which obviously would mean that 0 world series appearances, the 3rd longest drought in the MLB. But suddenly this front office, while dealing with a bankruptcy and multiple distraction, found a way to pick up the right people at the right time. (AKA Cliff Lee) And now they wait too see who they will face in the quest for their first championship. I personally give my blessing to the Rangers, GO UNDERDOGS!
