Bears Struggle in Preseason Opener

The Chicago Bears took the field Saturday Night, losing to the San Diego Chargers 25-10. Jay Cutler was in for only one series but went 2/2, finding Johnny Knox both times on the way to an opening field goal. The Charger's kept their starters in for two drives, with QB Phillip Rivers going 4/6, 62 yards and one touchdown. Now since I've just given you some useless preseason stats, let's get to what was important. The Bears had some injury trouble throughout the game with S Craig Steltz going out with an ankle injury. Backup QB Caleb Hanie suffered a huge hit and came out with a throwing shoulder injury, and rookie S Major Wright banged up his hand early in the 2nd half. These will be things to look out for in the coming weeks, especially with Hanie, be sure to listen to our recap and analysis on ACOTM, this Monday from 11am-1pm
