Philadelphia quarterback Michael Vick is in some more hot water after apparently lying about his whereabouts and role in the shooting of dog fighting codefendant Quannis Phillips in a Virginia nightclub last week. According to Vick’s initial statement he had left the party well before Phillips had shown up and the eventual shooting took place. However, recent surveillance tape of the party show Vick exiting only 3 minutes before the shooting occurred and some are speculating that younger brother Marcus Vick was involved in the shooting. As more facts come in we will surely give an update but since Vick in on such a short leash (no dog pun intended) I would expect some definite action from the NFL in the way of a fine or possible further suspension.
